Emily Ragozzino has been drawing since she could pick up a pencil. As a child she was already doing her own sequential art influenced by comics in the Newspaper. Cartoons of the 80’s and 90’s were also a big influence on her. She took Fine Arts in college, graduating in 2005. Later she moved on to Toronto and began attending comic conventions. At this time she started specializing in drawing comic books about female outcasts. Tom Boy Tara was meant to be a temporary project, but it grew on her. Being a tomboy herself she enjoys continuing to write and draw it. Check out her webpage tomboytara.com.
